Industrial Rock Music Crosses Over to Recovery Help Like Glue
Posted in Random Thoughts by MichaelIndustrial music has often been more archaic, but that has been evolving. There is this sick recovery rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren the other day that has a unique twist on electro-rock. His new album is a mix of electro-rock and the concept of beating addiction.
There are some songs at his site at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like they are temporary in lou of mastered tracks. They sound professional to me but that’s just my opinion. It is cool to find more rock like this written specifically for addiction recovery in a more enjoyable way from a person that has had the experience and is making a difference for others in addiction. Also It’s nice to see this type of synth-rock coming from the industrial outlet which is normally more rebellious in nature. Got to love that!
In addition, he has free downloads you can get from his website and more in his insiders area which is no charge. I also saw discounts, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be nice to get the album once it is available.
